Chinese brands are literally taking over the Indian markets and also emerging as big brands and we can see that in one of the Chinese company, LeEco which has almost taken over the Indian market with Le 1s. But, does it really, takes up the premium cake? Wasting no time lets check out the LeEco Le 1s review.
DESIGN
The Le1s is extremely well designed for its price. The superior built quality with aluminum metal looks gorgeous. Also, the chamfered edges feel good in hands. The fingerprint sensor on the back is mirror finished which perfectly blends out with the aluminum metal. The phone design seems to be inspired from iPhone lineup which has become the trend, especially from Chinese brands.
HARDWARE
The hardware on the device turns out to be good on paper but when you use the device, the glitches can be easily seen. On paper, the phone comes with a 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage whereas we only get around 1.1 GB RAM and 29 GB internal storage. Also, the phone doesn’t have an expandable storage which might disappoint you for some reasons. Other than those, the phone performs out to be really well because of the well-optimized software.
Battery
The battery life also comes a day and a half on normal Wi-Fi usage and a day on mobile data and also the device charges only in 80 minutes with a quick charge which is a good thing when you’re in a hurry. On normal usage, the phone can last up to 14 hours without any issue.
DISPLAY
When we take a look at the display, it looks gorgeous at first look because of a little bit higher warmth and saturation in colors. And the screen is 5.5” Full HD IPS display which works out to be great in indoors and at night. But, when we take it out in the sunlight, the screen is barely visible. But in overall, the screen does a really great job. The only drawback which I noticed is the video playback which had some issues while playing Full HD videos.
SOFTWARE
Coming to the software, the Le1s runs on Android 5.0.2 with eUI on top of it. Talking of the EUI, it is really a RAM sucker. It takes almost 1.7 GB RAM as it is deeply optimized. Other than that, the experience was lag less and smooth but the games turn out to lag a little bit. But we’re hoping to get everything fixed from the future updates for EUI.
CAMERA
1.Dark Mode 2.With Flash 3.Without Flash
The 13 MP rear camera on this phone turns out to be mediocre. The back camera capture photos with over saturation and average in low light conditions. But the camera is really good at taking macro photos. The camera shoots videos at 4K which we can’t see on phones in this price range. The 4K video recording is clean and the focusing was spot on. The slow motion videos did exceptionally well. The front camera isn’t that bad and captures decent selfies.
VERDICT
Totally, the phone is a good buy for 11000 bucks but if you like to customize your Android a lot then, this isn’t for you as the EUI doesn’t allow you to do so. Other than that for basic users, it’s a really good buy. LeEco Le 1s is one of the best android phones under 15000 and also the best smartphone under 10000
