Lenovo A6000 launched at CES 2015 for $170(Rs 10500)

Lenovo has revealed its latest budget friendly device costing around $170. Untill now we havn’t seen any fresh devices at CES 2015 from Lenovo, at last they released Lenovo A6000. The specifications are not that great when compared to other devices at this price range. International version of Lenovo A6000 will support 4G LTE  but not sure about India version with 4G support (need confirmation). The phone carries Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quadcore processor clocked at 1.2 GHz.

The device offers 5.5 inch high defination display shooting 720*1280 pixels resolution. The Internal storage capacity is 8 GB with expandable storage via Micro SD card. There is 1 GB of RAM which is dissapointing for many as the market is flooded with 2 GB RAM devices. Lenovo A6000 runs on dated Android Kitkat 4.4.4 with lenovo’s own Vibe UI 2. Android Lollipop could have been better to compete against other devices. The rear camera is capable of shooting 8 MP pics with HD Video recording. There is 2 MP fixed focus camera on the front which again dissapointing if you Selfie geek.

The phone houses 2300 mAh battery with 13 hours of talktime and 11.5 days on stand by. The phablet has dual speakers with dolby digital plus technology. Lenovo has tied up with Flipkart to launch this device exclusively. The price of this device could cost around Rs 8999 but the company hasn’t revealed its price in India. Lenovo A6000 will compete against giants like Micromax Yureka and Redmi Note.
