MIUI 6 dates are released for Xiaomi Redmi Phones but only for China ROM but not for Global ROM. The MIUI forum listed the dates for Xiaomi Redmi 1S 3G, Redmi Note, Redmi 1S 4G and Redmi 1. There is no information on MIUI 6 update for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G but we can expect the update sooner or later.
According to the MIUI forum, Redmi Note 3G (TD/WCDMA) will get Android kitkat 4.4.4 with MIUI 6 update on January 13. Redmi 1S 3G (TD) and Redmi 1 will get update on Early and Mid february 2015. Surprising news is that Redmi 3G (WCDMA/CDMA) might get Android L update directly but not confirmed yet. Redmi 3G might get update around late march. The developers are taking lot of time to port Android L on MIUI 6 which irritating the users. I have seen lot of complaints by the users on MIUI Forum.
Coming to the MI phones, MIUI 6 update with Android Lollipop might released around late January. This includes MI 2, MI 2S and MI 2a. So we still dont know when the MIUI 6 update will released for Global ROM. The users are still need wait little more to get Spicy MIUI 6.
