Asus Zenfone 2 with 4 GB RAM announced for Just $199 (Rs 12,600)

Asus just announced the remarkable budget android phone with high end specifications. This killer phone from Asus has been announced at the ongoing CES 2015 in LAS VEGAS. Asus Zenfone 2 is the upgraded version of earlier first generation of Zenfone series. This power house phone comes with 5.5 inch Full HD display with 1080*1280 pixels resolution. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has 403 PPI.

Asus Zenfone 2 is powered by 2.3 GHz Intel’s 64-bit Atom Z3580 quad-core processor. The processor has certainly improved compared to first generation zenfone phones. Current trending in the smartphone industry is 64 bit processor for high end user experience. There is 4 Gigs of RAM loaded, inside which is priced approximately Rs 12,600. Another version of Zenfone 2 comes with 2 GB of RAM ( needs confirmation on the price). Before arrival Xiaomi In India, We couldn’t imagine a phone more than 1 gig of RAM for such price range. But now Asus changed nailed it with 4 GB RAM and priced it to the taste of audience.

Asus Zenfone 2 has a tasty Android 5.0 Lollipop  out of the box with Zen UI. The phone comes with 3000 mAh battery which can charged upto 60% under 40 minutes. The dual sim smartphone offers 4G LTE on both the sims. Asus Zenfone 2 has 3 variants with 16 GB, 32 Gb and 64 GB with Micro SD card support. The price might change according to storage capabilities.

Asus Zefone 2 offers 13 Megapixel rear shooter with dual LED flash and has 5 MP selfie camera. The phone is going to be released in the market in early March. As far is India is concerned, there is no official word from Asus. The release of Asus Zenfone 2 in India might be  after International release.
