Xiaomi has launched the Prime version of Redmi Note in India. The smartphone is exclusively on Amazon.in for Rs 8499. From the teaser, I was expecting the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 prime but eventually they released an advanced version of Redmi Note. In China, Redmi Note 3 was revealed with the fingerprint scanner. In India, we are still waiting for the 2nd version of Redmi Note.
The Redmi Note Prime sports a 5.5 Inch HD Screen with IPS display. The phablet runs on the latest MIUI 7 on top of Android KitKat 4.4. Powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon 410 quadcore chipset with Adreno 306 GPU. The device packs a 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB internal storage. The external storage is expandable up to 32 GB.
It has 13 MP camera on the back with LED flash support which can record 1080P videos. For selfie freaks, the phone offers 5 MP selfie camera which can record 720P videos.
