Xiaomi Redmi 2 is the latest budget segment smartphone from Xiaomi. This phone is already released in China for 699 CNY ( Rs 7120 ). On March 12th, Redmi 2 is going to be launched exclusively on Flipkart.

Xiaomi Redmi 2 runs on latest MIUI 6 with Android Kitkat 4.4.4. You can expect Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Redmi 2. The phone is just updated version of Redmi 1s with few additional features like 4G. There is a slight update in processor with 64 Bit Snapdragon 410 quadcore chipset. Rest of the specifications are almost same as its predecessor.
