Xiaomi is one of the largest phone manufacturers in India and their budget phones sell like hot cakes. But despite being the no.1 brand they don’t have any presence in the flagship market in India. As we all know they are going to launch the Poco F1 in India to compete with flagships, but a new report also suggests that we might see the Mi 8 in India soon probably in coming weeks and will be priced higher than the Poco f1.
Many phone sellers have confirmed that the Xiaomi’s 2018 flagship Mi 8 is likely to come in India at coming weeks and price will be around Rs. 30,000. The Mi 8 is flagship phone with flagship specs like Snapdragon 845 chip coupled with 6Gig or 8Gig of RAM. The device is fueled by a 3,400mAh battery supporting Quick Charge 4.0+. The upcoming Mi 8 will give direct competition to the current flagship killer OnePlus 6 and the recently launched Asus Zenfone 5Z. The device looks very similar to the iPhone X and also has IR based face unlock. There is also an explorer edition of Mi 8 with the transparent back it will most likely not launch in India.
The bbase 6GB varaint of Mi 8 is rumored to be priced at Rs. 30,000 and the 8GB RAM variant will be going to priced somewhere around Rs. 35,000.
