Asus has learnt from their failures, how can they save their Zenone lineup from failing. After the successful launch of Zenfone Max Pro M1, Asus has launched their latest flagship smartphone the Asus ZenFone 5Z. It looks the Asus Zenfone5Z is going to give tough competition to the OnePlus 6.
The ZenFone 5Z packs the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC which is the exact same processor which found on OnePlus 6 and it’s even more powerful than Kirin 970 which is powering the Honor 10. The smartphone sports a 6.2-inch Full HD+ (2246 x 1080p) display. There is also an iPhone X like a notch on the top of the display and it also has Zenimoji which is Asus’s own implementation of Animoji.
The Zenfone 5Z comes in three different storage and RAm variants that is 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There is also a hybrid dual sim card slot which can also accept microSD cards up to 2TB.
In terms of camera, the ZenFone 5Z features a dual rear camera setup with AI which consists of a 12MP primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 8MP 120° wide-angle camera. On the front, there is an 8MP snapper for selfies.
The ZenFone 5Z will be available in two colour variants “Meteor silver”, and “Midnight blue”. The 64GB storage model is priced at Rs. 29,999 and the 128GB version costs Rs. 32,999. The 256GB version will come at a price of Rs. 36,999. The 5Z will go on sale on the 9th of July exclusively via Flipkart.
