Moto Z with Moto Mods Launching in India on October 4.

Lenovo is finally set to launch their Moto Z smartphone along with Moto mods in India on October 4th. It was introduced back in June at the Lenovo Tech World 2016. The best part about Moto Z is the Moto Mods itself. They’re great and snapping quick that get attached to 16 pins located at the bottom back of the smartphone. These Moto Mods include a Moto Insta-Share Projector, JBL SoundBoost, Moto Shells, and instant Power Pack.

The Moto Z comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED (1440 x 2560) with a pixel density of 535 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood, we get a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset clocked at 2.15 GHz along with Adreno 530 GPU and 4 GB of RAM.

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is expected to get Nougat update soon too.We get a 13 MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash with f/1.8 aperture and a 5 MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture.

For connectivity, we have our Moto Mods connector, USB-C port for headphones, charging and data. It does have a fingerprint sensor which also acts as the home button too. We get 4G LTE (Cat 9), WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) with MIMO, NFC for connections. Juicing it up is a 2,600 mAh non-removable Li-on battery with turbo charging.

The Moto Z unlocked version went on pre-order in the US for $699.99 this week, so we can expect it to be priced at Rs. 46,700 approximately when it comes to India next month.
