Micromax is finally back with their latest budget VoLTE smartphone in the Canvas 5 series. The company didn’t give any recent entries in the recent time. So, I guess Micromax made a good entry but late entry. It has a leather-like back cover and a metal frame for a premium look.
It comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. Under the hood, we get a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor clocked at 1 GHz with Mali-T720 GPU and 2 GB of DDR3 RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop (which is a great deal).
It comes with Dual SIM support too. It sports an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash with the OmniVision OV8856 sensor and a 5MP front-facing camera with the OmniVision OV5670 sensor. For connectivity, we get a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. on for the juice, we also get a 2,000 mAh battery which isn’t bad at all.
The Micromax Canvas 5 Lite comes in Slate Grey and Brown colors, is priced at Rs. 6,499 and is exclusively available from Snapdeal.
