Xiaomi has started to sending launch invites for the launch of its first Dual Camera Smartphone in India. While it has confirmed by Xiaomi India’s Managing Director, Manu Kumar Jain made confirming Xiaomi would launch its first dual-camera phone in India. But still, we don’t know whether Xiaomi is launching Mi5X or Mi6. But still, there are very high chances that Xiaomi will be going to launch Mi5X in India.
If we look at the press invite it looks like the device will have dual camera setup but one will have a larger aperture, and other will have the smaller aperture. So the camera setup on Mi5X is very much like this, and iPhone 7 Plus inspires this camera setup. So this is indicating the launch of Mi5X.
Xiaomi recently launched Mi5X in China with a dual rear camera setup with one is having a 12MP wide-angle lens with 1.25-micron pixel sensor and f/2.2 aperture, and another one has a 12MP telephoto lens with 1-micron pixel sensor and f/2.6 aperture. On the front, it has a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS LCD. It runs on a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at up to 2GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which can be expanded via microSD card. Mi5X is running MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Mi5X is powered by a 3080 mAh battery and offered features like G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. In China, the price of Mi5X is CNY 1,499 which translates to roughly Rs. 14,200. So the device will launch in India around Rs. 15000. Stay tuned for more info regarding Mi5X.
