The next generation of Google Pixel devices is expected to be launched around 5 October. This time also Google will launch 2 devices Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL. As the launch date approaches, more leaks and rumors are coming up online.
According to a popular website PhoneArena, the new Pixel 2 XL will have a bezel less design just like S8 and may feature an 18:9 display. But the Pixel 2 will follow the footprint of last year Pixel.
Last year both the devices are made by HTC, but this year HTC is going to make only Pixel 2. Whereas LG is going make its bigger brother Pixel 2 Xl which will feature a bezel less design.
The Google Pixel 2 XL is expected to sport a 5.99-inch QHD AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and taller bezel-less display. But Pixel 2 will sport a 4.97-inch full HD AMOLED display with larger bezels. According to the latest leaks, these new smartphones will not feature a headphone jack just like iPhone 7.
There are other rumors which say Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 chipset. Famous tech leaker Evan Blass had tweeted out that Google is planning to unveil Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL on 5 October.
