Vivo has launched their latest smartphone in their V-series and successor for the V7+, dubbed as Vivo V9. The main improvements from the last year’s Vivo V7+ are the new Full-Screen display which has a 19:9 2.5D curved glass screen with a notch, 90% screen-to-body, ratio and 1.75mm slim bezels. The new Dual cameras are a new addition to the smartphone as it enables the cameras to capture pictures with depth information for portrait shots.
Vivo V9 sports a 6.3-inch (2280 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19:9 IPS display. It is made up of glass and metal design and is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 626 Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory with expandable memory up to 256GB with a microSD card. It supports Dual SIM cards and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top.
Vivo V9 features Dual 16+5 MP rear cameras with LED Flash. On the front, it has a 24MP front-facing camera with soft LED flash and has A.I face beauty for a perfect image event in low-light or glare and has face unlock. Other connectivity features mentioned are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back and boasts a 3260mAh battery.
The Vivo V9 will be available in three different colors, Pearl Black, Champagne Gold, and Sapphire Blue. The smartphone will be retailing for a price tag of Rs. 22,990 in Online stores like Amazon and Flipkart for Pre-orders and will be on sale from 2nd April.
