Lava Z50 with 1GB RAM, Android Oreo (Go edition) launched for Rs. 4400

Lava has launched a new smartphone in the budget range smartphone category. The Lava Z50 device is their latest smartphone and the mentionable feature is it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo Go Edition which was announced recently. This phone is available at an effective price of Rs. 2400 after Rs. 2000 cashback. The program is being conducted by Airtel India as ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’.

Lava Z50 sports a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.1GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6737M with Adreno 304 GPU. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage with expandable memory up to 128GB with a microSD card. It supports Dual Sim cards and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) Go Edition.

The smartphone has a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and on the front, it has the same 5MP camera with LED flash. Other connectivity features are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. The Lava Z50 comes packed with a 2000mAh battery.

The Lava Z50 will be available in two different colors, Black and Gold colors. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 4400 and will be selling on Flipkart, Amazon, and Snapdeal in online markets. It is also said that Lava will be selling the Z50 in 100,000 retail stores across India.
