Nubia, sub-brand of ZTE has announced a new smartphone in their V-series line up as Nubia V18. The smartphone is going to be the latest mid-range device. Additionally, the device will be having a Face Unlock feature that can unlock the phone in seconds by scanning 106 facial recognition points, which is in trend these days and comes with an 18:9 display on the front.
Nubia V18 sports a 6.01-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display. The device has a metal finish on the back and is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4GB LPDDR3 of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with expandable memory up to 128GB with a microSD card. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with Nubia UI 5.1 skin on top.
The smartphone features a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED Flash. On the front, you can find an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calling. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. Other connectivity features are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS + GLONASS. The Nubia V18 boasts a 4000mAh battery with NeoPower 3.0 technology that can able to charge other devices using USB OTG.
The Nubia V18 will be available in three different colors, Black, Red and Gold colors. The pricing details are as given, 1299 yuan which is US$ 205 / Rs. 13,370 approx. The pre-orders have been started for the Nubia V18 and can be made available from March 29th in China.
