Lenovo has launched a mid-range smartphone dubbed as Lenovo S5 in China. The smartphone comes with a premium design with metal back and front glass display. The camera’s placed on the rear look a lot similar to that of iPhone’s. The device on the software side has ZUI 3.7 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo and U-Touch 4.0 for gesture interaction.
The Lenovo S5 sports a 5.7-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an Octa-Core 2GHz Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 3/4 GB of RAM and has a 32/64/128 GB of internal storage with expandable memory up to 128GB with a microSD card. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM cards and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with ZUI 3.7 on top.

Speaking about the camera, it has a Dual 13+13 MP (RGB, Monochrome) sensors with f/2.2 aperture and Dual-tone LED Flash. On the front, you will find a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 80.2-degree wide-angle lens for group selfies. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. Other connectivity features are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C. It has a non-removable 3000mAh battery.
The Lenovo S5 will be available in Midnight Black and Flame Red colors. The smartphone is priced at 999 yuan for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version, 1199 yuan for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant. The higher storage variant with 4GB RAM with 128GB storage model comes at around 1499 yuan.
