Nokia 7 Plus Android One smartphone with 6-inch FHD+ display and Snapdragon 660 SoC announced

HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia smartphones has just announced a bunch of smartphones at the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona 2018. As per the expected leaks and rumors, the Nokia 7 Plus has an 18:9 aspect ratio display and runs on Android One which helps for faster software updates.

The Nokia 7 Plus sports a 6-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform which has Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs with Adreno 512 GPU. Coupled with 4GB LPDDR4  RAM and 64GB (eMMC 5.1) internal storage with expandable memory up to 256GB with a microSD card. It runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) which is upgradable to Android 8.1 and supports Single / Dual SIM cards.

The smartphone also features a dual rear sensor with ZEISS optics that combine an ultra-sensitive 12MP wide-angle primary camera for both low-light and extra bright conditions and a secondary 13MP camera for 2x optical zoom. The apertures are a f/1.75 aperture and f/2.6 aperture respectively with Dual-Tone LED Flash. On the front, it has a 16MP shooter with ZEISS optics. It has a fingerprint scanner on back. Other connectivity features are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C (USB 2.0). It boasts a 3800mAh battery with fast charging.

The  Nokia 7 Plus will be available in Black, Copper and White, Copper colors, is priced at €399 (US$ 490 / Rs. 31740 approx.). The smartphone will be selling in the markets from early April.
