Micromax Unite 2 A106 with Android 4.4 Kitkat launched for Rs 6999

Micromax Unite 2 A106 is the first phone from Micromax which will compete with Motorola Moto E. Micromax Unite 2 A106 has some incredible specifications to watch out. It is the first phone in the new series of Micromax called Unite. Thankfully it is not a Canvas series phone which every are fed up on hearing the same name Canvas.

Micromax Unite 2 A106 offers 4.7 inch IPS display supporting 800Ă—480 pixels resolution. The phone comes with Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box with OTA update option. Unlike Moto E, this phone packs 5 Megapixel auto focus primary Camera with LED flash on the back. There is one more advantage over Moto E is 2 Megapixel fixed focus front facing camera. The battery backup is decent with 2000 mAh battery where as Moto E has 1980 mAh battery.

Micromax Unite 2 A106 houses powerful 1.3 GHz mediatek MT6582 quadcore processor. Iceing on the cake it has 1 GB of RAM with 4 GB of onboard storage. 32 GB expandable storage through SD card. The dual sim offers GPS,3G,2G,bluetooth and wifi. Micromax Unite 2 A106 comes in 4 different colors Green,white,grey and Red. It is available for just Rs 6999 which will go sale from 22nd may.

If you are looking for Moto E alternative then Micromax Unite 2 A106 is perfect choice. Plus point over Moto E is the presense of 5 MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and also a 2 MP front camera. Moto E is better when it comes built quality and has Corning gorilla glass 3.   • This has a mediatek processor which will probably never be supported by third party developers at XDA (because Mediatek refuses to release the Kernel sources for their processors). So power users should stay away from this phone and stick with Moto E.
    For others, I recommend you pay a visit to the respective service centers in your area before finalising between the two. Just ask people about their experience, especially the ones whose phones developed a hardware fault.
    The hardware on Moto E is pretty good for nearly anyone. In addition it has Gorilla glass which is a huge positive. Micromax has autofocus camera but I have seen too many autofocus cameras which shoot even worse than fixed focus ones. So choose wisely 🙂

    • Both phones have pros and cons. It depends on individual , if someone is a selfie lover then he will go for Micromax Unite 2. On the other hand if he wants well built smartphone then Moto E is the better option. You rightly pointed out ,one should approach nearby service centres of both this manufacturers to finalize the product
