Today HTC unvieled its latest mid range gadget HTC Desire 616. For the first time a big brand like HTC prized this phone aggressive for Rs 16900 to compete against Xiaomi Mi3. HTC Desire 616 sports 1280×720 pixels 5 inch screen. Decent screen resolution at this price when compare to other big brands.
HTC Desire runs on dated Android 4.2.2 Jellybean (Kitkat update not confirmed). The phone powers 1.7 GHz Cortex A7 Mediatek MT6592 Octacore Processor which is the highlight of this device. It has Mali 450 GPU supported by 1 GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage is on lower side with 4 GB but it can expandable upto 32 GB.
HTC Desire 616 has 8 Megapixel back shooter with LED flash and has 2 Megapixel front shooter. The 8 MP camera can record Full HD videos (1080 P). The phone comes with own UI called HTC Sense 5.5 UI. The battery is dissapointing with 2000 mAh capacity. It has two sensors Accelerometer and Proximity. 3G, 2G, Wifi, Bluetooth and GPS are connectivity features of this. HTC Desire 616 will be available in coming weeks for just Rs 16900
