Honor which is sub-brand of Huawei has launched its new Honor 9i smartphone in India. It also has a Four camera setup: two at the front and two at the back.

The main highlight of the phone is the four camera setup.  Dual cameras on front and rear both are capable of clicking bokeh shots and portraits. The implementation is very similar like Honor 8 Pro which lets users readjust the focus after the photo has been shot while also allows to choose different bokeh effects.

Honor 9i  sports a 5.9-inch full-HD+ display protected by 2.5d curved Gorilla Glass and comes with a metal unibody design. On the front, it sports a 13MP sensor for normal selfies which is accompanied by a 2MP sensor for depth of field enabled shots which lets the user take portrait and bokeh selfies. On the rear, the main camera is 16MP shooter which combines with clubbed with a 2MP secondary sensor for depth of field enabled shots.

Honor 9i is powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 processor which is clocked at 2.36GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which can be expanded via micro sd card. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with an  EMUI 5.1 skin on top. The smartphone packs a 3340mAh battery which the company claims can deliver up to two days of standby time. This is a dual sim device with Jio 4G VoLTE support.

Honor 9i is available in 3 color variant Aurora blue, Graphite black, and Prestige gold colors. This smartphone is available exclusively via Flipkart on 14th October and it is priced aggressively at Rs. 17,999. The Honor 9i becomes the most bang for buck 18:9 display smartphone with this price.
