Google Pixelbook Revealed The 2-in-1 Chromebook

At the Google’s hardware press event, Google released a new Chromebook called the Google Pixelbook. This is the notebook with a 12.3-inch display that can be folded so it can work like a tablet in addition to a notebook. The device comes with Play Store and has a support for your favorite Android apps.

This is the thinnest and lightest laptop Google has ever made at a just 1.1kg weight and 10.3mm thickness.   The battery on the device is supposed to last up to 10 hours on a single charge, and it supports fast charging which means it can get 2 hours of charge within 15 minutes of charging.  It also features instant hotspot tethering with Android SmartPhones.

The Pixelbook comes with Google Assistant on board, which can be accessed by saying “Ok Google” or pressing the dedicated Assistant key. This device comes with 7th Gen Kaby Lake processor which will be i5 and i7. Google also announced the Pixelbook Pen accessory for $99, which can be used as a stylus on the touchscreen of the Pixelbook. This stylus is made under the partnership of Wacom (who also designed S-Pen for Samsung Galaxy Note Devices). This Pixelbook Pen has 10 ms of latency, 60 degrees of angular awareness and over 2,000 of pressure sensitivity. It can be used for various tasks including circling an image or text in order to look up a word or find out more about the picture.

The US, Canada, and the UK will be the first markets for the Pixelbook and it will be priced at Prices start at $999 with an Intel Kaby Lake Core i5, 8GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage. There are also two version one with 256 GB of storage for $1,199, and the other one with an Intel Core i7 chip, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for $1,699.
