Honor 9 Lite is set to launch on January 17 and it’s the first device of Honor to be launched in 2018. It’s the successor for the last year’s Honor 8 Lite which did a quite nice job in terms of performance and pricing. The main highlighting features are it’s front and rear dual cameras. It is also confirmed that the phone will be launched exclusively on Flipkart.
The Honor 9 Lite sports a 5.65-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 659 processor (4 xA53 at 2.36GHz + 4 x A53 at 1.7GHz) with MaliT830-MP2 GPU. It has 3/4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of internal storage with expandable memory up to 256GB via Micro SD card. The device runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.0 and supports Hybrid Dual Sim cards.
The smartphone features a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, an LED flash with a secondary 2MP camera with PDAF. On the front, it has a 13+2MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video calling. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the back and other connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS. The Honor 9 Lite packs a 3000mAh battery.
The Honor 9 Lite will be arriving in Black, Blue, Grey and Black colors. In China, the device was launched for 1199 yuan which is Rs. 11,670 approx. We should know the exact pricing of the device on January 17th.
