Gionee is set to launch its latest premium smartphone S9 on November 15th in China. It is the upgraded version of Gionee S8 which was launched in early 2016. Recently, the company has launched the Gionee P7 Max, S6s, S6 Pro and M5 Plus in India.
Expected Specifications
Gionee S8 to feature a 5.5-Inch 1080P screen with 2.5D curved glass display. It is expected to pack a 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, and 128 GB expandable storage. The interesting thing about the phone is the dual camera, 13-megapixel+5-megapixel rear cameras. Already Huawei and Apple have adopted the dual rear cameras. On the front, it has a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
It weighs 166.5 grams and rocks a Fingerprint sensor on the home button. Gionee S9 to be powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor running on Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Amigo OS 3.2 on top. It houses an 3000 mAh battery and supports 4G VoLTE.
