Gionee has officially launched Gionee S6s in India. It’s the slight upgrade over Gionee S6 which was released last year. The S6s gets the makeover with its new Gionee logo on the back. The specifications seem moderate on paper just like its predecessors.
Gionee S6s sports a 5.5-inch 1o8oP screen with 2.5D curved glass display. The device supports Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is a selfie-centric smartphone with 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The selfie camera comes with 5P lens, LED flash, and f/2.2 aperture. On the back, it gets the 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and PDAF.
It runs on Amigo 3.1 UI based on Android Marshmallow 6.0. Gionee S6s is backed by a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor with Mali T-720 P GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, and expandable up to 128 GB. The device offers Fingerprit sensor on the back and houses 3150 mAh battery.
