Gionee silently launched S8 which is the high-end device from the company. Along with the S8 smartphone, Gionee has unveiled its new logo. Gionee S8 offers a 5.5-Inch Full HD 1080P AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 4, 3D touch, and 2.5D arc glass.
The flagship smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Amigo UI on top. Gionee S8 is loaded with 4 GB of RAM running on 1.95 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with Mali-T860MP2 GPU. It has 128 GB external expandable storage with 64 GB internal storage.
On the back, it shoots 16-megapixel primary camera with LED flash support, Laser Autofocus, 6P lenses, and RWB technology. The S8 offers 8-megapixel selfie camera which can shoot amazing selfies. It supports dual hybrid sim ( One Micro+Macro/MicroSD card ).
Gionee S8 gets the power from the 3000 mAh battery which comes with Fast charging support. Other key specs include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G LTE with VoLTE, and GPS. The phone will be available in Rose Gold, Gold and Grey colors. The S8 is priced at 449 Euros ( roughly around 33k INR ).
