Asus unveiled its new smartphone ZenFone Zoom S under its Zenfone series in India. Asus ZenFone Zoom S is a camera centric smartphone launched on the eve of World Photography Day and will be a Flipkart exclusive handset. It is available online priced at 26,999.
The smartphone comes with dual rear camera setup it includes dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with 2.3X true optical zoom and 12X total zoom which will allow users to capture distant objects clearly. The main 12-megapixel SONY IMX362 sensor has a f/1.7-aperture, and 25mm wide-angle main lens and the secondary camera comes with a dedicated 59mm telephoto lens, a 12-megapixel sensor which has 2.3X true optical zoom and 12X of total zoom. This camera is powered by the ASUS SuperPixel Camera app which allows user to shoot good images in different lighting situation. Other camera features include Dual Pixel PDAF, second-generation laser autofocus and RAW image capture support.
Another highlight of the ZenFone Zoom S is that it has a massive 5000mAh battery which delivers up to 42 days of standby time according to Asus. The smartphone features a full metal body and a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display which is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage which can be increased via micro sd card. It also has a fingerprint scanner at the rear of the device. Asus ZenFone Zoom S runs on Android 6.0 with Zen UI 3.0 and will be upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat. It is available in two colors Navy Black and Glacier Silver and can be purchased via Flipkart.
