Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 to feature 3D facial recognition

Xiaomi is geared up to launch the successor of bezel less Mi Mix in September. Now, after the many rumors and leaks, the phone is reported to feature a 3D facial recognition instead of a traditional fingerprint scanner to unlock the smartphone.

According to the Weibo leakster, the next generation Mi Mix 2 to have 3D facial recognition which can be seen in the alleged leaked screenshot. And also it suggests the feature will be default in the upcoming MIUI 9.

You might have already seen this feature on Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy S8. Going by the rumors, the Mi Mix 2 will be a completely bezel less smartphone.
