Asus has a wide range of smartphones in Zenfone 2 Series. Now Asus Zenfone 2 laser joins the Zenfone 2 family. To remind viewers, there are two versions of Laser, one with 2 GB RAM powered by Snapdragon 410 and another one is with 3 GB RAM powered by Snapdragon 615. The 2 Gigabyte version is available for Rs 9999 and 3 GB version for Rs 13999. I don’t understand why they can’t name differently for this phone. The non-techies do get confused with similar names which have different specifications. Asus need to rethink on naming the devices (personal thought).
Let’s get on with the specifications, Zenfone 2 Laser comes with a 5.5 inch HD Screen. The display is supported by Coring Gorilla Glass 4. It runs on top of Android Lollipop 5.1 with ZenUI flavour. A 3 GB RAM running on 1.5 GHz Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 octacore processor.
It offers 13+5 MP camera sensors which are same on all Zenfone 2 devices. Internal storage is 16 GB and has 128 GB expandable storage. Dual sim phone supports 4G LTE, 3G and 2G. The other features include WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser with 3 GB RAM is available on Flipkart for Rs 13999. It is available in 3 variants with Black, White and Red colours.
Please guide me one smart phone for voice recording. I need such for music practice. Crisp voice recording and battery back up is the main criteria for the phone. Please guide me such one i) Under Rs. 5000/- ii) Under Rs. 10000 & Under Rs. 12000/- category.

There is no such smartphone designed for voice recording. Almost all smartphones are good at voice recording. Go for the phones which are mentioned in the articles.
Infocus gold offers 2gb ram with 2.5ghz octacore processor whereas zenfone laser offers 3gb ram with 1.5ghz processor(intel processor),which one would work faster and be compatible with gaming if were to choose between them
The Infocus UI is not optimized that well compared to ZenUI. Of course, Zenfone 2 Laser with 3GB will perform better than Infocus Gold. Both phones might heat at some point of time while gaming. Snapdragon 615 has a tendency to heat as we have seen in Xiaomi Mi 4I and Moto X play.
