Remember the ZUK Z2 Plus we reviewed earlier by Lenovo and it seems like we’re going to see a new phone from the ZUK (Lenovo’s sub-brand). It received TENAA certification and recently surfaced with some specs and images as well. It is to be called the ZUK Edge which will have narrow bezels like that we saw on the S7 Edge and Note 7 (R.I.P. Note 7).
The ZUK Edge comes with a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080) Full HD 2.5D curved glass display resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35 GHz coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. The ZUK Edge might have a 4 GB of RAM or 6 GB of RAM with 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ZUI 2.0 on top of it.
It is rumored to have a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and an 8 MP front-facing camera as well. For connectivity, we get 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and USB Type-C here. For juicing it up, it might have a 3,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
We have been waiting for months for a new ZUK phone since 5 months after the ZUK Z2 Plus. The ZUK Edge is expected to come in two colors – Black and White and maybe announced in early December.
