Xiaomi announced the Mi Note 3 along side with Mi Mix 2 in an event in China. The Mi Note 3 sits actually above the recently launched Mi A1 (or Mi 5X). Mi Note 3 comes with a Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 6GB of Ram and 64GB or 128GB of storage.
The Mi Note 3 also packs a dual rear camera setup just like Mi 5X and Mi 6. These are two 12MP cameras on the back with one regular wide angle lens and the other one is with a 2x telephoto lens. This camera setup is also able to capture portrait shots. For selfies is it has a front snapper of 16MP with ‘Adaptable AI Beautify’ feature.
The Mi Note 3 runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7 Nougat. It also bears a 7-Series aluminum alloy frame and a 4-sided curved glass body. Xiaomi is also is also touting the under-glass fingerprint sensor on the Mi Note 3. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS LCD display. The Mi Note 3 is powered by a 3500mAh battery.
Mi Note 3’s price starts at RMB 2,499 (roughly Rs. 24,500) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB variant and RMB 2,899 (roughly Rs. 28,300) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB for the black color variant. There is also a blue color variant which is priced at RMB 2,999 (roughly Rs. 29,400) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage.
