Are you feeling sad since the Note 7 died? Then, you shouldn’t worry about the curved display since Xiaomi came up with something to fix up the problem. Continuing the Mi Note series, they announced their new Mi Note 2 at an event in China today.
The Mi Note 2 comes with a 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080) OLED 3D dual curved glass display. Under the hood, it has a quad-core Snapdragon 821 64-bit processor clocked at 2.35 GHz coupled with Adreno 530 GPU and 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 running on top of it.
It comes with an internal storage of 64 GB for the 4 GB variant and 128 GB for the 6 GB RAM variant. It has a 22.56MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash and an 8MP autofocus front-facing camera with 76-degree field of view. It comes with a dual SIM slot, fingerprint sensor, and infrared sensor as well. For connectivity, it comes with 4G VoLTE , WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. It juices up with 4,070 mAh battery for the 6 GB variant and the 4,000 mAh battery for the 4 GB variant.
Price and Availability
- The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be available in two different colors i.e Piano Black and Glacier Silver.
- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version is priced at 2799 yuan (Rs. 27610 approx.)
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version costs 3299 yuan (Rs. 32550 approx.) .
- Global 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version is priced at 3499 yuan (Rs. 34,525 approx.).
- It will go on sale in China from November 1st.
