Xiaomi has launched the Special Red color variant of the Mi A1 in India. The new Xiaomi Mi A1 RED Color Special Edition will be the limited edition smartphone and will be available from December 20 via Mi.com and Flipkart. It will be also available in Mi Home stores also in Mi Preferred Partner stores, and retail partner stores. The special Edition Mi A1 has priced at Rs. 13,999.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 Special Edition Red Color variant comes with a red color back. Apart from looks, the Mi A1 has the exact same hardware to the original Mi A1 which was launched in September. The Mi A1 Special Red Edition runs on stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat which is powered by Google’s Android One program. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch IPS full-HD (1080×1920 pixels)resolution display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage.
The Mi A1 comes with dual rear camera setup which consists of two 12-megapixel sensors – one with normal wide-angle and the other one with the telephoto lens. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 is a dual sim device with hybrid micro SD cars support. It features 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, and also a 3.5mm headphone. The Mi A1 is backed up by a 3080mAh battery. Recently Xiaomi has also launched Rose Gold variant of the Mi A1. The Mi A1 is now available in a total of four color options including Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and the new Red color Edition. You can buy the smartphone from December 20 via Mi.com and Flipkart at the price of Rs. 12,999.
