Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) officially launched with Infinity Display

Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) has been officially announced but not globally only in Europe as of now.  These smartphones are the successors of Galaxy A5 (2017) and A7 (2017). The Galaxy A8 and A8+ bring some inspiration from the Samsung Galaxy S8 including the Infinity Displays, IP68-certified dust, and water resistance but it also includes one extra feature which is not available in Note & S lineup i.e dual selfie shooters.

It will be the first smartphone from Samsung which comes with dual selfie camera which consists 16MP + 8MP sensors. The Smartphone has the feature of Live Focus which let you chose blurriness or Bokeh or the focus point of images and adjust the blur of the background of your image. The rear camera is also upgraded and now it comes with the single 16MP shooter with f/1.7 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) features the Infinity Display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio 1080p+. resolution AMOLED display protected by curved glass. The design of these smartphones is very similar to the flagships of Samsung.  The A8 comes with a 5.6? display and the A8+ comes with 6? display.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018)  both the smartphones are powered by the octa-core chip in which two cores are clocked at 2.2GHz and six cores clocked at 1.6GHz. The Galaxy A8 packs 4GB RAM and the Galaxy A8+ comes in options in which one variant is of 4GB and the other one is of 6GB. Both the smartphone has a support for Samsung Pay support (with MST), IP68 waterproofing. The Galaxy A8 is pumped up by the 3,000mAh battery, on the other hand, the bigger A8+ is backed by the 3,500mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018)  will run on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box which is the slight disappointment as Andorid Oreo has been alredy launched by Google. The Galaxy A8 will be available at €499 (Rs. 38000 approx.)  and its larger brother is priced at €599 (Rs. 45000approx.). These smartphones will be available only in Europe as of now, but they will debut globally at CES.
