Xiaomi Mi 5X with Snapdragon 625 and Dual Cameras announced in China

Xiaomi has announced their upcoming mid-range smartphone as Mi 5X. The attracting factor of this device is the dual camera lens. It comes with the same camera module from Mi 6. This phone is like a cheaper model of Mi 6 as it resembles the same in design but has metal body instead of glass.

Mi 5X sports a 5.5-inches (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core 14nm Snapdragon 625 processor with 650MHz Adreno 506 GPU. Mi 5X comes with a storage of 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage with expandable memory upto 128 GB with a MicroSD card. You can find the fingerprint sensor on the back of the device. It supports Dual sims and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with latest MIUI 8 on top. The battery capacity of the device is a 3080mAh.

Coming to the optics, it has a 12MP dual rear camera with one being wide-angle lens and the secondary being a telephoto lens. The apertures of the lenses are f/2.2 and f/2.6 respectively. It also has a dual tone LED flash too on the back for darker situations. On the front, it comes with a regular 5MP sensor.

The Mi 5X will be available in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colors. The device is said to come with a price tag of 1499 yuan i.e., Rs. 14284 approx. and will go on sale in China from August 1st.
