Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus with Dual Cameras and Secondary displays announced in China

Meizu has announced their flagship smartphones of this year as Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus. The main highlighting feature of these devices is their rear secondary displays. Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus will be available in two variants. Let’s check out more details about it.

Meizu Pro 7 sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor with Mali-T880 GPU
/ 2.6GHz Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X30 10nm processor with PowerVR 7XTP-MP4 GPU. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. It runs of Android 7.0 Nougat with Flyme OS 6 on top. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the front and comes with a battery capacity of 3000mAh.

Meizu Pro 7 Plus features a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD Super AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by a 2.6GHz Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X30 10nm processor with PowerVR 7XTP-MP4 GPU. It also comes with 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. This device also runs on the same Android 7.0 with Flyme OS on top. The battery capacity of Pro 7 Plus is a 3500mAh.

The PRO 7 Plus also has mCharge 4.0 that lets you charge up to 70% in 30 minutes with a 25W charger. Coming to the optics, Both the variants have the same Dual 12MP (Colour+ Monochrome) sensor on the rear and 16MP sensor on the front.

The secondary display on the rear of these devices is a 1.9-inch (240×536 pixels) 307 PPI secondary Super AMOLED display with a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The display is very informative and shows details like notifications, time, weather and can take selfies with rear cameras with ease. Let’s hope other brands also implement these type of features.

The Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus will be available in Black, Silver, Gold and Red colors. The Pro 7 with 64 GB storage is priced at US$ 426 / Rs. 27,440 approx. and with 128GB storage is priced at US$ 500 / Rs. 32,205 approx. And the Pro 7 Plus with 64GB storage comes with a price tag of US$ 530 / Rs. 34,110 approx. and the 128GB storage variant will be priced at US$ 604 / Rs. 38,875 approx. The smartphones are expected to go on sale from August 5 in China.
