At 4G/5G Summit in Hong Kong, Qualcomm has unveiled their all-new mid-range SoC the Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform based on 11nm process technology. It is an Octa Coe SoC which sits between Snapdragon 670 & the 710. We will like to see phones coming with Snapdragon 710 coming next year.
But at the event, Manu Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi and Managing Director confirmed that the Xiaomi will be going to launch the first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 675. But he didn’t specify any time frame, so we will have to wait for next year for the phone launch.

If we look at the Snapdragon 675, then it brings some exciting features to the smartphone like the triple camera on the front and the rear. It also has a support for enhanced portrait mode (Bokeh) as well as 3D face unlock. It looks like we are going to see some power-packed mid-range phones in 2019.
Qualcomm already confirmed that the Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform is available for OEMs for testing and apart from Xiaomi, we are also going to see other manufacturers to bring their new mid-range phones with Snapdragon 675 in 2019.
