Xiaomi’s Black Shark sub-brand has announced their 2nd phone the Black Shark Helo Gaming Phone. As the name suggests it is the gaming from Black Shark and it has their first phone to feature 10GB of RAM.
The Balck Shark Helo sports a 6.01-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR support. It is powered by flagship Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with up to 10GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. The processor on the phone has two liquid cooling pipes to keep the phone cool during intense gaming sessions and company is claiming that it can reduce the CPU temperature by up to 12-degree, compared to 8-degree in the predecessor.
The phone also sports a glowing RGB logo on the back along with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It features a metal back shell that also combines a 3D glass. It is a dual sim device which runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with custom Joy UI on top. It has dual front-firing speakers along with two-stage SHARK key which can be used for gaming mode. The device is backed up by a 4000 mAh battery for long gaming hours.
The company also feature some accessories like detachable left gamepad like the predecessor, along with another accessory which is a dual hand joystick case with dual fans for additional cooling.
The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version of the device is priced 3199 yuan (Rs. 33,920 approx.) and the 8GB version costs 3499 yuan (roughly Rs. 37,100) and the top-end 10GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 4199 yuan (roughly Rs. 44,520). The phone will be a China exclusive and will go on sale from October 30th.
