Vivo has finally launched their upcoming Vivo V5s, the successor to the Vivo V5 into the Indian market today at an event in Delhi along with Nimrit Kaur.
The Vivo V5s sports a 5.5 inches HD (1280 x 720) IPS display along with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. Under the hood, there’s an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with Mali T860 GPU. There’s a 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage given into the smartphone which can be expanded via microSD card slot up to 256 GB.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 3.0 on top of it out of the package. There’s a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash whereas the front facing camera is a 20 MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash which Vivo calls as Moonlight flash. The phone supports Dual SIM technology and has a fingerprint sensor as well. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS+GLONASS. The device is backed up by a 3,000 mAh of juice as well.
The device is priced at Rs. 18,990 and will be available in Matte Black and Crown Gold colors. The phone will go for pre-order on 27th April and will be available from May 6th in offline retail shops. The Matte Black variant will be available for retail from May 6th whereas the Crown Gold variant will be available from May 20th.
