Sony has launched their flagship smartphone in India as Xperia XZ Premium. This is the India’s first smartphone to be launch with Snapdragon 835 SOC and a 4K HDR TRILUMINOUS and X-Reality display which is their own module.
The Sony Xperia XZ premium has a 5.5-inch display and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. It has a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. This device is also water resistant and comes with a battery of 3230mAh with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. And also comes with other essential sensors like a fingerprint scanner which is embedded in the lock button.
Coming to the optics, this has a 19MP rear camera with Exmor RS sensor of a 1/2.3? sensor, with f/2.0 aperture lens, and also has Predictive capture with 5-axis stabilisation. It also has 4K video recording capability as it supports a 4K display. This device can also record 960fps of slow-motion video.
On the front, it has a 13MP front-facing camera with 1/3? Exmor RS sensor with 22mm wide-angle lens and has a f/2.0 aperture. This camera is capable of 1080p video recording.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium come in three colour variants Luminous Chrome, Bronze Pink and Deepsea Black colours. Sony is also offering Sony LIV subscription for 3 months which is worth of Rs. 349 and 5200 Game Credits in Modern Combat 5 for free. The price of the device is Rs. 59,990 and is going to be available on Amazon.in from June 2nd and will be available for pre-order at all Sony Center and select retail outlets.
