Moto has announced their smartphone Moto Z2 Play which was allegedly leaked many times this last month. New Moto Mods were also launched for Z line up smartphones in the event which are, JBL SoundBoost 2, the Moto TurboPower Pack, Moto Style Shells with Wireless Charging, and the Moto GamePad. The prices of the three mods, SoundBoost 2, TurboPower Pack and GamePad is $79.99 and the wireless charging shell for $39.99.
The Moto Z2 Play sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display which has a resolution of 1080p. This device is powered by an Octa core 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor with Adreno 506. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and on the other variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB of ROM and both has expandable memory with SDcard support.
Below the display, it has a fingerprint scanner which is embedded in the home button. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. Coming to the optics, Moto Z2 Play has a Rear 12 MP dual pixel camera with LED flash, f/1.7 lens and a 5MP front facing the camera with f/2.2 lens and dual LED flash. This is also water resistant certified smartphone.
The Moto Z2 Play comes with 3,000mAH and separately comes with a Moto Mod which is TurboPower Pack which is capable of Quick Charging at 15W speeds. A USB Type-C lets you recharge the Mod itself to 50 percent in just 20 minutes of charging. And the other Mod is GamePad which attaches at the back and has some cool controllers on the either sides of the front.
Moto Z2 Play will be available in Lunar Gray, Nimbus Blue, or Fine Gold colour options and is priced at $499 which is approx. Rs. 32148. As of now, Moto Z2 Play is only available in the US through Verizon or Unlocked version.
