Sony Xperia XA2 with 5.5-inch 1080p display and Snapdragon 630 announced

Sony has announced the successor to the last year’s launched Xperia XA, dubbed as Xperia XA2 at CES 2018 event. It was leaked recently with live images and the images showcased the design and fingerprint placement before the announcement of the device.

The Sony Xperia XA2 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Image Enhance Technology and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 630 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory with expandable memory up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.

The smartphone supports Dual Sims and fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.  It features a 23MP rear camera with 1/2.3? Exmos RS sensor, Hybrid Auto-Focus, and an 84° wide-angle f/2.0 lens. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter with 120° super wide-angle f/2.4 lens. Other connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. The Xperia XA2 boasts a 3300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, Qnovo Adaptive Charging.

The Sony Xperia XA2 will be arriving in Silver, Black, Blue and Pink colors and will be available in retail stores across the world at the start of February 2018 and the pricing details are yet to be announced.
