[Exclusive] Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ Are Up for Pre-registratons in India

Samsung announced their latest flagship, the Galaxy S8 and the S8+ in the last month. And Samsung is preparing up itself for launching them in India soon. Because the pre-orders are already open for S8 and S8+ in India.

Just to recall, the Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8 inches QHD (2960 x 1440) display and 570 ppi while the S8+ comes with 6.2 inches QHD (2960 x 1440) display and 529 ppi on the other hand. Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 835 chipset with Adreno 540 GPU or the Samsung Exynos 9 Series 8895 processor with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU depending on your location. We get a 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64 GB of UFS 2.1 storage on the standard variant. While the Asian variant includes 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. We get a 12 MP Dual Pixel rear camera on both the devices with an 8 MP front-facing camera as well. Both are IP68 dust and water resistant. The S8 is juiced up by a 3,000 mAh battery while the S8+ comes with a 3,500 mAh battery.

Availability and Pricing in India

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are already up for pre-orders on Samsung’s website. They’ll be available for pre-orders starting by the end of April most probably. The launch date of the Galaxy S8 is April 19 in India according to some sources like The Huffington Post and International Business Times. Apart from that, we expect the price to be in the Rs. 50,000 range at launch.
