Samsung Galaxy Note8 is launched in India at just Rs. 67,900. This is the flagship smartphone from Samsung features a 6.3-inch (1440×2960 pixels) QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display with a pixel density of 521ppi and a screen aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Actually, this is the big brother of Samsung Galaxy S8+ with S Pen. The Galaxy Note 8 is powered by a Samsung Exynos 8895 SoC coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB built-in storage expandable via microSD card(up to 256GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.
This is the first flagship from Samsung featuring a dual rear camera setup, complete with Dual OIS (optical image stabilization). This camera setup includes one 12MP sensor coupled with a wide-angle lens, Dual Pixel autofocus, and a f/1.7 aperture. The second sensor is also a 12MP offering, paired with a telephoto lens, and f/2.4 aperture. This camera setup provides depth-of-field effects like Bokeh (with real-time and after the fact adjustment), 2x optical zoom, as well as capture an image simultaneously with each camera. For selfies, it has an 8MP autofocus camera with an aperture of f/1.7 at front. All of this is powered by a 3300mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 also comes with IP68-certification, an iris scanner, and face recognition feature. Samsung also announced that Bixby Voice has been launched in India, and will be available from September 30 on the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. It is available in Maple Gold and Midnight Black color variants. And the price of the 64GB variant is Rs. 67,900 in India with Rs. 4,000 cash back for purchases made via HDFC Bank credit card. Samsung has garnered over 2.5 lakh registrations on Amazon India and the official Samsung website.
