Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Infinity display and Dual Cameras announced

Samsung has announced their most anticipated and awaited Note 8 device for this year. Note 7 has been a disastrous thing that ever happened to them and Samsung has been very cautious with their devices and sorted out the issue with not much of a mess around. Let’s check the specifications of the brand new Note 8 and hope all goes well.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 sports a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with Adreno 540 GPU or Samsung’s own Exynos 9 Series 8895 processor with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU in Asian variants. The device comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage with expandable memory up to 256GB via microSD card.

Coming to the camera, it has a 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera, wide angle lens with LED Flash. It has a f/1.7 aperture with OIS. The secondary camera has a telephoto lens with f2.4 aperture and OIS with 2x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, it has an 8MP auto focus front-facing camera with f/1.7 aperture and wide-angle lens as well.

Note 8 runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with Samsung UI. The device has Water and dust resistant (IP68) and comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slots. On the bottom, you can find an S-pen. The Note 8 has a battery of 3300mAh battery with fast charging on both wired and wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be available in Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey and Deep Sea Blue colors. The device will be available from 15th of September and pre-booking starts from 24th of August at the US and price yet to be known.
