LG V30+ Launched in India with 6 inch FullVision Display and Dual Rear Cameras

LG has launched the higher storage variant of the LG V30 the all-new LG V30+ in India. Expect the storage, there is no difference between the LG V30 and the LG V30+.  The LG V30 and V30+ were launched at IFA 2017 in August this year. The LG V30+ is priced at Rs. 44,990 in India. The smartphone will be available in Aurora Black and Cloud silver colors.

The LG V30+  features a 6-inch QHD+ (1440x2880p) resolution FullVision OLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.  The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via micro sd card.

The LG V30+ has a dual rear camera setup with an aperture of f/1.6, a first in the smartphone camera industry.This dual setup features a 16MP primary rear camera with f/1.6 aperture, Crystal Clear lens, Optical Image Stabilization, Electronic Image Stabilization and Hybrid Auto Focus which combines both Laser Detection Auto Focus and Phase Detection Auto Focus and a 13MP secondary camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens for more wide angle dramatic shots.On the front side, the LG V30 sports a 5MP wide-angle camera with an aperture f/2.2.

The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with LG UX 6.0+ on top. This brings new features which include new Voice Recognition supported by Qualcomm Aqstic voice UI technology for always-on, always-listening capabilities and face recognition unlocking. It also sports a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC which is powered by ESS Technology’s SABRE ES9218P along with digital filters and tuned by Bang & Olufsen (B&O).

 

On the design side, it comes with a metal frame which is packed by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back. This smartphone is IP68 water and dust resistance and has passed 14 categories of the MIL-STD 810G for durability. It is powered by a 3,300mAh battery with the support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Wireless charging. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Dual Band ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0 support with compatibility for USB Type-C 3.1.
