Honor is all set to launch their first gaming phone in India the Honor Play on August 6. It is also the first ever gaming smartphone launching in India.
The Honor Play has been already unveiled in China in June this year, but soon it will be available in India for purchase via Amazon.in. It is also one of the first Honor phones to feature the turbo GPU technology for gaming and overall performance. The gaming phone is powered by the Kirin 970 which we have already seen in couple of Honor and Huawei phones.
The Honor play sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 display with a notch and an 89% screen-to-body ratio. It will feature a 16MP primary camera accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and there is also a single 16MP selfie shooter on the front. It will run on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2 on top and backed up by a 3750mAh battery.
Honor is planning to launch the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant which is priced in China for 2399 yuan which translates to roughly US$ 354 or Rs. 24,360.
