At the Google’s hardware press event, Google also announced two new Google Home devices the new Google Home Mini and Google Home Max.
The Google Home Mini comes in a small and straightforward design, and it can easily be placed in most rooms. It is made of fabric which is produced by Google to let sound and lights in and out. This is a cheaper version of Google Home which is designed to compete head-to-head with the Amazon Echo Dot. It comes in 3 different colour options i,e coral, chalk, and charcoal Where it can be used to listen to music, podcast, and news. It can also be used to stream Bluetooth audio. It can be wake by saying “OK Google” or “Hey Google”. It charges with Micro USB, not USB-C. It will retail for $49.
The Google Home Max is the much more expensive version of Google Home. Google Max is meant for hardcore audiophiles. It has a stereo speaker with two 4.5-inch woofers and a couple of tweeters flanking them. It comes with built-in Google Assistant. It comes in two colour variants, black and white. It will support Bluetooth, and you can use Google Cast to get audio on it. It also comes with a USB-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack can be used as Aux with your phone. The Max price is set at $399 and will launch in December. It’ll start in other countries next year. It also comes with launch offer of a year-long subscription to YouTube Red for free.
