Remember one of the Bluboo devices we reviewed, the Bluboo Maya which wasn’t a great device but was able to give out a good satisfactory experience. But, Bluboo has got something similar to the Galaxy Note 7 (in case if you miss its design so badly). Bluboo has launched their new devices up to the pre-sale into the Global market. And the phone is known as Bluboo Edge.
The Bluboo Edge comes with a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720) OGS (One Glass Solution) display made by SHARP and has a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. And the greatest part about it is that it completely looks like a revamped design of the Galaxy Note 7 with dual curve design. Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek MT6737T quad-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz coupled with Mali-T720-MP2 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
The Bluboo Edge comes with an internal storage of 16 GB which can be expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card slot. It also does come with a 13 MP rear camera with Sony IMX219 sensor and LED flash and on the other side, we have an 8 MP front-facing camera as well. We also fingerprint sensor which is placed into the home button and also a heart sensor which is located right below the rear LED flash. It gets up the juice from a 2,600 mAh non-removable Li-Polymer battery out of the box.
In terms of the pre-orders, as mentioned the Bluboo Edge will become available to order starting from November 10, with the pre-order phase remaining in place until November 24. Bluboo is also holding a giveaway too in between this pre-order phase. The Bluboo Edge is expected to retail for $ 139.99, however, during the pre-order phase (until November 24), the smartphone will be available for only $ 129.99.
