Asus has revealed their latest addition to the Zenfone Zoom lineup along with the Zenfone AR at CES 2017and is called the Zenfone 3 Zoom. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 12-megapixel dual rear cameras.
The Zenfone 3 Zoom comes with 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080) Full HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood, it runs on an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor clocked at 2 GHz with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 3 GB RAM for the 32 GB variant whereas the 4 GB RAM for the 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage variants.
The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Zen UI 3.0 on top of it. On the camera side, it comes with 12 MP + 12 MP rear cameras with dual-tone LED Flash and a 13MP front-facing camera as well. For connectivity, it comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C. Juicing it up is a 5,000 mAh battery which comes with a standby time of 42 days.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom comes in three colors – Glacier Silver, Sapphire Black, and Rose Gold. The Zenfone 3 Zoom is expected to roll out from February 2017 but the pricing information hasn’t been out yet.
