Micromax’s subsidiary YU has finally launched their first smartphone of 2018 the YU ACE. It is a budget smartphone which will compete with the likes of Redmi 5A.
The YU ACE sports a 5.45-inch display with (1440 × 720 pixels) HD+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio protected by 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by the mediocre MediaTek MT6739 SoC and comes in two RAM and storage variants 2GB RAM 16GB storage and 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, storage is also expandable by microSD with a dedicated card slot. It is a dual sim device with dual 4G VoLTE support.
Despite of having a budget phone it packs a fingerprint sensor on the back and energised by a 4000 mAh battery. On the optical front, the YU ACE houses a13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing shooter with LED flash and face unlock capabilities.
The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and comes in Charcoal Grey, Electric Blue and Rose Gold colours. The base vara int of YU ACE with 2GB RAM is priced at Rs. 5999 and the higher end 3GB RAM version costs Rs. 6999. You can purchase the device exclusively via Flipkart from September 6th.
